A few words about us:
Arte Semplice Chamber Choir was founded by Ildikó Duffek in November 2011. Its members are enthusiastic amateurs, with some or more serious musical background, brought together by the love of good music and friendship. The aims of the choir are the following:
- propagate the Hungarian and universal music culture;
- maintain and propagate the national and European musical traditions;
- participate in both sacred and profane festivals and events;
- form and maintain a fruitful cultural connection with Hungarians living outside of the borders of Hungary through concerts abroad and via tours.
The name Arte Semplice reflects the way we think about music and presenting compositions: we strongly believe that through a pure and simple presentation, the essence of music shines through.
